Udayagiri & Khandagiri
Udayagiri & Khandagiri Caves One of the earliest groups of Jain rock-cut shelters, the caves of Udayagiri (Hill of Sunrise) and Khandagiri (Broken Hills) command a unique position in the filed of history, rock-cut architecture, art and religion. The two hills rise abruptly from the coastal plain, about six km west of Bhubaneswar, separated by a highway.

Dhauli Hill (Dhaulagiri), Orissa, India
Lord Buddha used to preach here. His preaching's were so strong that King Ashoka renounced war and embraced Buddhism. Dhauli Hill Situated on the banks of the Daya river and at about eight kilometres from Bhubaneshwar, Dhauli is the place where the gory Kalinga war was fought in 261 B.C. Today, Dhauli doesn’t look gory at all. Instead, it is a picture of greenery, peace and serenity. The Peace Pagoda built by the Japanese Buddhist Sangha stands tall on a hill and overlooks the entire Dhauli plain. This peace pagoda houses various statues of Lord Buddha and visually depicts stories of the Kalinga War and King Ashoka’s conversion to Buddhism.

Chilika
Chilika Bird Sanctuary is a journey to remember forever. South of Puri the sea mixes with Chilika Lake to create the largest sweet lake in Asia, and a spot of enchanting beauty.  Satapada is a lake resort located on the southeastern piece of the famous Chilka Lake. Satapada attracts tourists for viewing of Dolphins and the picturesque Sea mouth.

Satakosia Gorge is another most well known place in Nayagarh and also famous in the state. The natural beauty of the place attracts many tourists from different places. The depth of water level is very high. There is a wildlife sanctuary in Satakosia. Different type of birds and animals are seen here. The panoramic view of the place is really amazing.

AsurkumariAsurkumari 18 kms from Nayagarh towards Nayagarh-Ranpur via Darpanarayanpur- road. Beautiful water-fall with scenic beauty attracts tousrist.There is also a goddess temple there.It is beutiful picnic spot. SARANKUL:The Shrine of Lord Ladukeswar, known popularly as Ladu Baba is situated here, 100 kms from Bhubaneswar on the Nayagrah- Aska Road and 13 kms from Nayagarh town.
Atri
Atri in Orissa is well known for its hot sulphur springs Located at a convenient distance of 42 km from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa, the hot sulphur springs maintain a steady temperature of 55°C throughout the day. There is a bathing complex adjoining the hot sulphur springs in Atri that affords you a chance to take advantage of the curative powers attributed to the spring.
  
Mahavinayak Temple
Mahavinayak temple is a main center of pilgrimage and one of the oldest Ganesha temples in Jajpur, Orissa . Kapilash Temple is one of the oldest and finest temples of the state. It is popularly known as the Kailash temple. It is situated in the north eastern part of Dhenkanal town.

Hirakud Dam
Hirakud Dam (Oriya: ହୀରାକୁଦ ବନ୍ଧ) is built across the Mahanadi River, about 15 km from Sambalpur in the state of Orissa in India. Built in 1957, the dam is one of the world's longest earthen dam. Behind the dam extends a lake, Hirakud Reservoir, 55 km long. Hirakud Dam is the longest man-made dam in the world, about 16 mi (26 km) in length. It is one of the first major multipurpose river valley project started after India's independence. The name of the dam is mostly mis-pronounced in North India as Hirakund which is actually Hirakud.

Gopalpur Beach
Gopalpur-on-sea is the closest tourist attraction for the people coming to Berhampur. This deep sea resort, an ancient sea port of a bygone era, this place replete with all the needs of modern day discerning traveler, is just 16 km from Berhampur. A hot sulphur spring Taptapani is also at a distance of 50 km from Berhampur. It is an ideal Health Resort and picnic spot.

Mahuri Kalua Temple
Mahuri Kalua is one of the most preferred picnic spot in Ganjam,Orissa.This spot is near a mountain and having two temples.First temple is on the mountain and their are stairs to climb into the hill, then there is a smal cave ,through which the temple is accessible. It will take around 45 Mins- one hour to reach the Mahurikalua Temple on the mountain.Second temple is down the hill which is just infront of the parking space.The Godess is well known in the district and many people come there to pray.The space down the hill is full of long trees and like a jungle which is mostly used as a picnic spot. You can find some inbuilt place to cook and have fun with loud music,dance,play etc.Being 15 Km far from Berhampur City , some public transport run to this spot and there is a option to book a taxi,auto or Bus incase of many people whicha re available at railway station,Bus stand and some other areas and can be booked through the travel agents.

Taptapani
This hot sulphur spring, 50 km from Berhampur, is an ideal Health Resort and picnic spot, One can stay at Panthanivas, Taptapani,Jaugarh, 35 km from Berhampur, is famous for Ashokan Rock Edicts and other archaeological remains.The hot water springs amidst lush forests are worth visiting. The hot water is channelised to a pond nearby to facilitate comfortable bathing. It is conveniently accessible by bus 50 km from Berhampur, amidst lush green forests is Taptapani where there is a hot water spring. The hot water is channelised to a pond nearby to facilitate fascinating baths. Regular bus service operates to this place from Berhampur. A Panthanivas of the OTDC provides accommodation to the tourists. A pipeline drawn from the hot spring provides the natural hot water inside the bathrooms of this Panthanivas.

Aryapalli
Famous for charming beach and bracing climate, 30 km from Berhampur and 6 km from Chhatrapur, the district headquarters of Ganjam, the beach at Aryapalli is quiet and charming where the waves talk. Its bracing and invigorating climate adds freshness to the soul. A nature loving tourist can enjoy the sun-sand-surf among the green casuarina plantations.

Taratarini
The hill-top temple of Taratarini, the twin Goddesses, is endowed with immense natural beauty. The scenic beauty is further enhanced by river Rushikulya.The temple of Taratarini, the twin Goddesses, is situated on the top of a blue capped hill. The beauty of the place is enhanced by the encircling river Rushikulya. The shrine draws huge crowd throughout the year especially on every Tuesday in the month of Chaitra. The place is well connected by regular bus service from Berhampur.There is a Revenue Inspection Bungalow here for accommodation whose reservation authority is Tahasildar, Chhatrapur.

Mahendragiri
Amidst rich scenic beauty of the evergreen forests, Mahendragiri, 5,000 feet high, stands in its unrivalled glory in the Parlakhemundi subdivision of the district of Gajapati. The hill is associated with mythological stories from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. It finds mention in the works of poets Kalidas and Radhanath Ray. The rivulet Mahendra Tanaya flows down the hill with her usual trickling note. Archaeological remains at Mahendragiri make an interesting study for the scholars. Sivaratri is the main festival here, which draws a large crowd. Mahendragiri can be approached from Parlakhemundi, which is frequented with bus service from Berhampur (125 km) via N.H. No. 5 or via Taptapani and R.Udayagiri (176 km). One can go from Parlakhemundi to Kainpur (46 km) by bus and then to Burkhat pass (5 km) by jeep and finally proceed to the Mahendragiri hill (10 km) on foot.

Daringbadi
